Baby It's Cold Outside ....
There is nothing better than going for a stroll in the snow with someone you love, then coming home to a cup of hot cocoa and snuggling under a warm blanket on the couch, but what about us single gals? What do we do to make snow more fun? I’ve come up with a list of ten things that we single ladies can do to have a good time when we are blessed with a snow day:
* Build a snowman! Hey nobody said that snow-women need to have a snowman to be happy!
* Go for a snowy night stroll! I did this myself and found the winter wonderland to be even more beautiful!
* Sit in a window and enjoy the view! No matter where we live, snow is beautiful!
* Make Snow Ice Cream!!! We all know that a woman who can “cook” will lead a very happy life!
* Find Joy in children building Igloos! When I was a kid my brothers built this huge igloo that we could all three fit into. Even though they left me in there and jumped on top of it, sending the igloo to it’s death, and me into a frenzy thinking I was going to die…. I still find joy in watching little children build them.
* Tell someone you love them by writing it in the snow! Memories are made by cherishing someone else more than ourselves!
* Call your single girlfriends and invite them over for a snowy movie marathon! Make sure to have snacks, chocolate, and hot cocoa available!
* Clean the driveway of a neighbor before they go to work. Love is best spent on others!
* Grab a friend and take them to coffee! My favorite is Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks, I also recommend the Peppermint Mocha, or Vanilla Hazelnut Latte! If you’re brave like me, snow isn't something that holds you captive.
* Take a picture and send it to a friend who lives in a place that doesn't get much snow. It’s nice to think of others with something as simple as a photo to say ” thinking of you” .
These are just ten of my favorite ways to spend a snow day, however i’m sure that you have some great ideas as well. Enjoy the snow!
